SVCC’s Career Connection 2008
King Community Center Gymnasium—April 9, 2008, 10am-3pm
We’re glad you plan to participate!
This annual venue allows companies to connect with students and alumni for potential full-time, part-time and internship positions. In addition to candidates completing their programs of study, students who are trying to fine-tune their career goals, looking for career advice and future employment will also be attending. Please share your insight and expertise with them at the beginning of the higher education phase of their career journey.
CAREER FAIR SCHEDULE:
8:00-10:00am Employer arrival and booth set-up
10:00am-2:00pm Annual Career Fair
11:00am-2:00pm Lunch
2:00-3:00pm Reception/networking with SVCC Administrators, Faculty, and Staff
DIRECTIONS: Click for Driving Directions to SVCC . From the main entrance (stone sign), King Community Center is the first building on the left with ample parking in front.
UNLOADING and PARKING: If you have a lot to unload, you can pull your car up to the Gym door on the upper right (west) side of the Community Center. Dollies are available inside the Gym. Parking near the Gym entrance is available only while unloading; please move your vehicle to the parking area in front of the Community Center as soon as you have unloaded so that others may unload. The elevator to the upper level is located at the rear of the lobby.
INTERVIEW SPACE: Tables and chairs are available for private interviews in the rear of the gym behind the curtain.
LUNCH/REFRESHMENTS: Coffee and drinks with be available all day. Complimentary lunch is available for Vendors from 11:00-2:00 in the rear of the gym..
RECEPTION: Please be our guest for a reception in your honor. We hope you will plan to unwind a little and network with SwVCC Administrators, Faculty and Staff immediately following the career fair, 2:00-3:00pm, in the Conference Rooms on the main level of King Community Center. Please let us know how well our students and training programs are meeting your needs.
