RADIOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

Responsibilities:
Position will be part of the tri-college radiology program and will be based at Mountain Empire Community College. Individual will teach 12 – 15 credit hours in radiology (lecture and laboratory) or closely related subjects each semester. In addition, faculty members are expected to engage in curriculum and course development, to serve as academic advisors, to participate on college committees and other activities, and to be available to teach both day and evening classes. Participate in departmental decisions pertaining to program planning budget preparation, curriculum development, etc. This is a nine-month faculty position, which requires summer contract work.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in the professional discipline with ARRT certification. Basic computer competencies to include laboratory simulations, computer assisted instruction, and web-based course development and management. Five years of experience with previous clinical supervision preferred. A strong personal commitment to the mission of the community college is essential.Selected applicant will be required to successfully complete a background check prior to beginning employment.
