Course Description
Part I
Part I of 180 hour course designed to meet demands of Activity professionals and to address implementation of OBRA regulations. Provides competency in planning, evaluation and implementing programs and activities, care planning, human development in the late adult years, and standards of practice. Participation in Part I and II fulfills new requirements for NCCAP certification basic activity course.
Part II
Continuation of Part I.

Activity directors, activity assistants, recreation therapists, geriatric program leaders, those aspiring to be an activity professional, and anyone interested in activities with the elderly population.
