| Please be advised renewal may be refused due to: Certain items are restricted as to the number of times they may be renewed... OR... if another patron has placed a hold on the item. |

| Renewing via your library account - Step 1 - Go to http://www.sw.edu/library ... Step 2 - select the online library Catalog link Step 3 - click My Account ... then ... Enter your Username - NOTE: Username for students or faculty/staff: your SWCC Directory username & Password for students or faculty/staff: same as the Directory password. NOTE: User name for community members: your library card # (all 14 digits) & Password for community members: must be generated by staff at the library - if you did not receive the library password when your library card was created, then please check at the circulation desk, or contact the staff at (276) 964-7265. Step 4 - Scroll to the right, and choose the Southwest Virginia link. Step 5 - Click on your Personal Profile, and then click on the Loans link. Step 6 - You can renew all of your current loans by clicking on Renew ALL option, or Renew each item individually. Don't forget to click on <Sign out>. |

| Your library card number is needed to renew by phone, email, or at the circulation desk. | ||||||||||||||
| Fines are 25 cents per day/per item. Patrons will be notified of overdue Library material. Long-overdue items and fines are reported to the SWCC Business Office on a quarterly basis. | ||||||||||||||
| Library users are responsible for all materials charged on their cards. Materials loaned to another person or jointly used for research projects are the responsibility of the person charging the materials to his/her account. | ||||||||||||||
| For lost materials, actual replacement costs plus fines and processing fees will be charged. | ||||||||||||||
| Note: An E-mail address is required for
this service. You will receive an immediate renewal confirmation, and
you will receive a second notification of due dates later by e-mail.
If you do not receive a second renewal confirmation within 48 hours, please
notify us by phone (276-964-7265). Please note also that certain items are restricted as to the number of times they may be renewed and that renewal may also be refused if another person has placed a hold on the item. |
